- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Wow the dispatcher at the Taft PD called the shelter and told the lady we were rude and not to accept the 8 week old stray kittens. She was so rude she said to call Kern County and that they would take them because we were 100 feet out of the city limits of Taft. Wow what a technicality. Then they actually called PD on us because they said that we had to take the kittens and leave. All because we were 100 feet out of the "city limits" even though its a taft zip code, a taft address and is technically in the city of taft. She was on some insane power trip and if you actually want someone who isn't going to say, " Its not my problem just leave them there" call Animal Control of Kern County where someone was actually polite instead of being a complete waste of space.By A Google User, September 22, 2017
